DESCRIPTION:Brain Products and BrainVision LLC ( https://brainvision.com/ ) will sponsor the Third International Workshop on High Frequency Oscillations in Epilepsy (HFO 2024) at NYU Langone Health in New York, NY, USA on May 23 – 25, 2024.\nHigh frequency oscillations (HFOs) have been intensively studied in the context of epilepsy. The third version of the HFO workshop aims to address the latest advancements since the last versions of the workshop (1st in Montreal 2012, 2nd in Freiburg 2016). In particular, the upcoming workshop will cover:\n\nThe basic mechanisms of HFOs\nTheir clinical utility\nLatest advancements in recording, detecting, and analyzing HFOs\n\nIn three hands-on teaching courses, attendees will learn how to record, detect, and analyze HFOs using human and rodent EEGs. In addition, the latest and unpublished cutting-edge research will be presented to promote the exchange of novel ideas and scientific progress. The meeting is designed to involve interactive discussion including poster sessions. As in previous years, it aims to continue to be instrumental in shaping future directions and collaborations.
